Job Purpose
The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of warehouse operations, including inventory management, team supervision, and safety compliance. This role ensures that products are accurately received, stored, and shipped in an efficient manner. The Warehouse Manager will work closely with leadership to implement strategies that enhance operational productivity while maintaining a safe and organized work environment. The role requires strong leadership skills to manage a team effectively and ensure adherence to GOAT USA policies and industry regulations.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage warehouse operations, including inventory control, order fulfillment, and shipping logistics to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
- Supervise and train warehouse staff, delegating tasks effectively and monitoring performance to maintain productivity and compliance with GOAT USA policies.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols to create and maintain a safe working environment, ensuring adherence to OSHA and GOAT USA safety regulations.
- Conduct routine safety inspections, address potential hazards, and foster a culture of safety awareness among employees.
- Maintain accurate inventory levels through regular cycle counts and address discrepancies as needed.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure the timely fulfillment of purchase orders and resolve any shipping or inventory-related issues.
- Ensure the warehouse remains clean, organized, and compliant with safety and operational standards.
- Oversee the procurement of warehouse supplies and equipment while managing adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS), such as NetSuite and RF Smart, to optimize operations and track inventory movements.
- Support GOAT USA initiatives to improve efficiency, productivity, and overall warehouse performance.
Requirements
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment, including hand trucks and pallet jacks.
- Capable of lifting or moving products up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Full-time, non-exempt position.
- Normal working hours: 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, with flexibility for evenings and occasional weekends.
- Mandatory overtime hours are required during peak time periods.
- Prior experience conducting interviews and assessing candidate suitability; ability to provide constructive feedback and support performance evaluations.
- Location: Plainview, NY.
Preferred Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Experience with various warehouse management software systems.
- Valid driver’s license preferred.

Salary Range:
The salary range for this role is $80,000-$90,000 a year. The salary offered will take into account a number of factors, including the applicant job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, among other factors. A bonus may be included as part of the compensation package offer.
